Jeera Biscuits

Crispy,crunchy ,light tea time biscuit made with flour and amazing ingredient cumin. Toasty , buttery flavour of cumin in biscuit is just finger licking good.

Difficulty- Easy

Preparation Time-5- 10 min

Cooking Time- 15 min


Plain Flour – 60 gms

Salted Butter – 43 gms

Powder Sugar – 10 gms

Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp (roasted)

Carom Seeds – 1/8 tsp (optional)

Salt – 1/4 tsp


In a bowl whisk butter,sugar and salt till light and fluffy.

Add roasted cumin seeds and carom seeds,mix gently

Sieve plain flour to the butter mixture and knead in to a nice dough. Freeze for 15 minutes.

Take out of the freezer and roll it thin and cut in to desired shape.

Bake and 180 degree fan setting oven for about 10 min or until golden brown.

Cool for 10 min and enjoy

*Biscuits will be soft to touch when you take out the oven ,it will get crispy once cooled
